Energy Audits
An energy audit is an overview of how much energy you are currently using in your property, with recommendations to reduce this and save money, while increasing your comfort levels. Associated carbon dioxide savings can also be calculated.
The auditor will visit your property to assess how much energy you are currently using. Glazing, insulation levels, lighting and appliances are assessed, as well as the heating and hot water systems. A report is then produced, outlining how to reduce your current usage and if required make recommendations for renewable energy systems to suit your circumstances. Advice on the Feed-in-Tariff and Renewable Heat Incentive can also be provided.
Planning permissions and other consents will also be considered.

Thermography
Thermography shows infrared radiation being emitted from an object which enables us to see variations in temperature A thermal image of a building can illustrate heat escaping or identify cold spots. This can assist in recommending insulation and draught proofing measures.
Energy audits will now include a thermal image as standard, however customers can contact us to arrange to have a thermal image of their property taken independently of an audit.
